HEY DOLLS!!

Only done a quick 4 hour shift at work today and now I have the rest of the day to myself for once!! Well I say the rest of the day but I'm literally about to start getting ready for a family party so!!!

(Let the dying my hair commence) AAHH CHORE

Anyway.. Here I am wearing my LOVELY feather/faux fur gilet which I bought the other day and I am in love!

My lace black top is actually from Top shop but quite a while ago! You may be able to find it in the sale right now though guys so keep your eyes peeled!(not certain though) I do have a vest top on underneath as it is a little revealing!! Can't be showing my boobies off at work now can I gals!!!

Last but not least I have on my beautiful ox blood red shiny skirt on which I love!! It is about a year old but you can get them everywhere girls including boohoo Topshop and even Ebay! SO GET ON IT!!

Mini December haul!

So here are just a few things I have bought this week! To be precise in the past two days... NAUGHTY! Tbf they were all in the sale!!!! Dead cheap guys.. DEAD CHEAP so yeah get yourself to the Topshop sale before it is all gone YOU CRAZY CHRISTMAS SHOPPERS!!!

These are just a sight for sore eyes I mean LOOK!

I have been wanting a faux fur gilet for AGES MAN! And then I came across this beauty!! GONE FROM £39 to £15!! I just HAD TO DO IT! Look like a little fluffy bird in it!! SOO PRETTY it's from the concession section.. Rare London!!

Rare London is actually amazing I own quite a few pieces from them x

Next up we have the beautiful lace JADE FREEN dress!! I have has my eyes on this for quite some time too wanting to buy it and then I came across it in the SALE MAN!!!! Gone from £55 to £20 I mean WHAT!! What a STEEL!! Here is a picture of me wearing this amazing little thing!!

This is what I wore for Christmas Eve as we went to the pub for a few cheeky glasses of red wine!! When I say few actually lying!! Ooooopsie!! got ma hair big beauty queen style finishing the look off with some red lipstick! Which is always a must.... Black tights and my face black and white boots which I wear like EVERYDAY MAN

LAST BUT NOT LEAST! Take a look at this sparkly tinsel top!!! Such a BARGIN at just £12 I mean guys!!! I feel like a shining star in this bright orange glittery piece!! LOVEEEEE IT!

Winter LUXARY essentials

So recently I've been doing some SHOPPING of course!! And guys before I even carry on just going to say a few words... IT'S 3 for 2 IN BOOTS!! So yeah I've gone a little crazy and here are just a few of the things I have purchased! :)

It's winter now people which means its SUPER cold outside so we seriously need to start taking care of our skin before it gets all dry and Unattractive!

I must admit this is my first time using soap and glory products and I am now a customer FOR LIFE! The smell of the sugar crush body butter is just amazing!! It sends shivers down my spine and I just want to EAT it cause it smells so good!!!

It's such good quality too the scent of the body butter stays on for a really long time after applying it!

But before you use the body butter I really suggest that you try out the sugar crush body scrub! Honestly I am speechless words can't even describe how good this beauty is!! (It ain't like me to be speechless!!) it makes your skin super soft and it leaves it gleaming and smelling like a princess!

Moving on to the HAND FOOD! Well I've been buying hand cream for quite some time now but i have never actually had to use it.. But lately my hands are so dry and are super thirsty for some TLC so I thought I'd try out the soap and glory one cause I've seen such good reviews! And they are RIGHT OF COURSE!! It makes your hands so soft.. Like unbelievably soft and it doesn't leave the horrible greedy feel on your hands either! And I be you can't guess it smells super good too!!

LET me just get this straight! Do you ever smell something and literally just want to eat it!! Well fear not my friends because with this product you can do just that!! YES I REPEAT! YOU CAN EAT IT! This is such a clever little product! It's a bubble gum flavour lip scrub that exfoliates the lip and gets rid of the horrible nasty dry skin! And once your done with it on your lips if your feeling peckish ....JUST LICK IT OFF :p

Design boards under way!! PUNK LOVERS

HEY GUYS! ✌

Sorry I've not posted in a while I've been super busy with this Asos project!! Getting my designs ready for the visits from the Asos team such as the design manager from (men'swear) and also other guys from ASOS. I just want to say the guy called matt that came in to see us was amazing and the advice he has given us is super helpful!!

It's been super hectic like GO GO GO all the time so sorry again for not posting up!!

Here are 4 for my 6 final designs and I am super excited about them!! EEEEEEEEEEK!

Amongst these is also the design that I am currently drafting to make and present to ASOS ✌

This one is one of my absolute FAVES!! It's inspired by The PUNK movement including fabrics such as tartan and pvc! It doesn't take a genius to guess but the crazy hair is inspired by VIV WESTWOOD obv!! QUEEN OF PUNK .

This next little BEAUTY is inspired by the popular PVC skirts that everyone and their NANNAN are wearing!! it has an 80s twist on it! I have taken inspiration from the late 70's / 80's and remade it modern to fit in with today's style!

Black beauty here is inspired by the Jean-Paul Gaultier collection spring/summer 2011 which was a

Massive PUNK collection which was just AMAAAAAZING! Here are some piccys for you to take a look!

Just LOOK how crazy these little numbers are!! GIRL YOU WORK IT!

Last but not least here is my 4th of the 6 designs! I still have two more to go but it shouldn't take me long to complete them!

A sure was a saving the best till last! Yeah this illustration looks crazy! But this is the design that I have chosen to make which is also inspired by the Jean-Paul collection! It is going to be a PVC tube skirt with a zip attachment with this fluffy chiffon and netting material! It can be changed from a day to night piece in no time at all!! I ain't just a pretty face you know;) JOKES

M.A.C COSMETICS FASHION MARKETING

SO! if you have been checking up on my blog you will have seen quite a while back we started an amazing Mac cosmetics project which we would choose between two briefs and then once we had finished we would be pitching it to two of the lovely representatives of Mac cosmetics.
Brief choices? the two choices we had were.. we could either come up with a design collection and use the mac collaborations or we could use Viva glam and create a NEW and FRESH lip colour and a Brand new spokesperson! We chose the viva glam one for the CHARITY element and also we loved the idea of coming up with something totally different and we were the only group to choose this brief which was good!

Personally i am so glad we chose the viva glam one because it meant we could devote the project to marketing which is definitely a strength of mine plus i want to do fashion communication in UNI and i knew this project would give me the chance to SHINE as it did us all!

THE TIME HAS COME!!!
finally a huge weight has been lifted from all of our pretty little shoulders and we can now sit back and relax while it all gets marked!

TODAY two of the gorgeous mac representatives took time out of their work to come in and judge our work and to give us feedback and before i go on i must mention how AMAZING their feed back was!! we have worked super super hard on this project for the past 12 weeks slaving our asses off to get the grades we want so it was such a relief to hear some amazing things about our work!

It has been such a tough road for us staying up late getting up at SILLY TIMES like ~~7.00am~~ 4.30 this morning to make sure everything was right but we FINALLY pulled the cat out of the bag!!!

I had a MASSIVE heather small moment today feeling so proud of all the work we have done and its all been so worth it! i have loved it so much but the best part was definitely pitching our project this morning.

We have done so much work.. Here my lovely tutor has taken pictures of all our final work. on here we have our marketing report part one which is all our research on the Mac Aids Viva glam and the company its self. also we have our Katy Perry Viva Glam presentation which has huge amounts of research on the charity Katy has been involved in, why we chose her as a spokesperson, explanation of the product its self and so on.. then in the bottom right we have our look book which has our designs in, photos from the shoot that we did creating a look for this lip colour and promoting our merchandise which i shall do a separate post on very soon!

For the colour of the lipstick we chose the colour purple as we think it associates with Katy Perry as she does wear this colour very often. To create this colour we looked through a selection of my lipsticks mixing them together to create this shade of a blue toned purple, bright purple and a lilac purple. This is not actually an existing colour by MAC we came up with the concept all on our own. i edited the mac lipstick using macromedia fireworks blending different shades together to create the colour to show everyone what it would actually look like.

If your wondering what this huge life size lipstick is well this is a press pack that we would send out to editors and magazines to view our product and to get an exclusive inside look which would contain a sample of the lipstick, illustrations a face chart with the look and our press release.

Here we have a picture of all our work together plus our illustrations for our designs of the t-shirt and Viva Glam Friday uniform! On here we also have our peacocky mood board which is where we got our inspiration from for the makeup look which was a collection by MAC back in 2011. On the left we have our Customer profile board which our project was aimed at ALL AGES ALL RACES AND ALL SEXES with it being an Viva Glam based project which is a massive Aids charity. (every penny goes to charity no profit is made)

Here is the Promotional T-shirt that would be worn for Mac Viva Glam Fridays! we made it using two T-shirts one purple and one black! we then screen printed a V on to the front which stands for Viva glam and then we used a puff binder paste which puffs up when heated which is a really good effect. we also dyed the paste purple to tie in with our theme. we did the same with the tote bag which i constructed myself.

THIS WAS ALL A MASSIVE TEAM EFFORT

It has been such a FUN EXCITING experience working with MAC cosmetics and i have loved every second of it!!! i am THRILLED PEACE OUT GUYS

Hannah is responsible for the lovely illustrations, Grace did the photography for the shoot which i will do another blog post on soon, hannah focused on the press release and presentations as did i and i had the job of pulling everything together organising and Boosting ideas and i was the one who came up with the Purple idea. i also focused on the making of the merchandise such as canvas bag and makeup bag.

HEY GUYS!! So I've just whipped up this little beauty of the things I am lusting over at the moment!!! And surprise surprise they are all from TOPSHOP I just simply can't stay away!!!

Check out this amazing MERMAID GLITTERY SEQUINNED top! Oh my I seriously can't wait to get this baby ready for the party season!! And this beautiful silver space skirt in VINYL is just an absolute DREAM!!

Obviously I can't miss out the DAZZLING holographic clutch which is only £15 I mean come on.. BARGIN I mean look how pretty it is!!!!

I am a makeup MAD kind of girl and obviously I've had my eye on a few bits and I have heard massive great reviews on the lush highlighter and baby pink KISSABLE lipstick 💋 wouldn't be the same without some sparkly GLITTER nails..

So many people have these I just hope there are some left :(

HIII GUYS! So I'm just at college and I'm super bored on my dinner so I thought I'd put up a post for yous!!

I'm super excited to be wearing this AMAZING faux fur and red VELVET cropped jacket it is just LUSH!! I saw it on lulutrixabelle's blog and I was like that has got to me MINE AND NOW! So I have it 😊😍

I am also wearing a faux leather top that is so comfy and doesn't anoy me at all like some faux leathers do!! It has cute little hole detailing aswell, teamed up with this jazzy black and white snake print skirt! I love this skirt is it sooo EASY to just throw on and feel good at the same time!!

Oh that ox blood red...

Getting in the Christmas spirit already with the ox blood red and my lovely glittery nails! Wait until my Christmas shopping really starts... Everything will be GLITTER!!!

Back to my outfit! Here I am wearing one of my favourite tops! It's a crop top from Primark that is covered a divore velvet print! Dead cheap aswell, I am super obsessed with velvet recently I just can't help myself!! Anyway I have teamed this up with a basic skater from topshop!!! My watch is from missguided and my lovely boots are from fashion union! Last but not least guys my denim jacket is from a vintage shop London for a £5 yeah I was like that is mineee! Although you can get ones really similar with white sheep/fur style collar in topshop and they are soo nice...Hope you like girls!!!

And of course my lipstick is RUBY WOO by mac :) super bright an festive

OOTD & makeup..

So I think it's about time I got back into the blogging routine again and what's better than starting with an outfit of the day.

I'm super excited about this outfit because I ordered it from misguided a couple of days ago and it can the next morning!

Here I am wearing the gorgeous flafica eyelash knit in turquoise/deep green. This is my favourite colour it's just amazing!! And it is so soft I have never felt anything like it! Definitely one of my favourite pieces from missguided 10/10!

On my bottom half I am wearing a lovely black pencil skirt with a zip opening. It has an organza strip at the bottom which looks so effective and it's better than just wearing your average black skirt!

I also have a watch on which I got from missguided because I was super desperate for one, all of this came to a bargain price of £40 a full outfit for just that? And the quality is so good you just can't go wrong!

Update on marketing project- Mac Cosmetics

Recently I have informed you about our marketing project on which we are working with Mac Costsmetics. Our brief was to choose a spokes person and create a new viva glam lipstick to go with it, and to also create some viva glam advertising t-shirt. Here are a few of the boards that I've been getting up to lately for my team! So much work have one into these babies so I hope you like them!:)

To create this mood board I have looked at the colours and created a colour palate on which our viva glam will be based around and I will be creating a

look to go with the lipstick.

I have also looked At Katy perry an the kind of colours she wears and the different colour of her wigs ect.

We have also looked at an old Mac collection from winter 2011. Because we like the collection so much and it fits in with our inspiration and spokesperson we plan to recreate this look and bring it back in a viva glam edition but Katy PErry style.. Exciting!!

GREY ON GREY! & 50 Shades Of Red.

Another popular look on the catwalk is the layering of the greys! It is definitely a bold statement look and you have to be quite daring to try and pull it off but as long as its styled right you can't go wrong! So why don't you try it and be in with the trends this autumn winter.

MEN'S TRENDS Autumn/Winter 2013

I think it's time to broaden my horizons when it comes to fashion and take a look at it all from a mans point of view.. But coming from a women? If it all makes sense!

Here I am about to talk about a few of the hottest trends on the catwalk for you guys out there this season cause we all know men are obsessed with looking good!

Firstly I'm going to start with the contrast jumpers! These have always been a hit with the guys but now more than ever if you don't know what I'm talking about well I'm about to explain to you exactly what they are!

The contrast sweatshirts are a sort of jumper with medium thickness I would say which have a plain bodice but then the sleeves are constructed in a completely different material like this jumper here which can be found in Top man.

Here the sleeves are made of PU leather. PU is short for polyurethane which is just an alternative material to leather which is extremely popular in the mid-upperhigh street market level shops but is also seen on the catwalk too.

UP next we have the navy duffle coat which is making a comeback this year.. The thicker the better!! Although I wouldn't go over the top styling this coat as it would be perfect with a creamy/brown wool jumper and some dark jeans. This coat can too be found in TOPMAN this autumn winter.

Another popular item coming up from TOPMAN again is the 90s inspired checked shirts. I don't think these will be going anywhere any time soon as they are extremely versatile and can be worn on a night out with some skinny jeans or through the day under a knit jumper which will be perfect for keeping you warm this winter.

Next we have the bomber jackets. These too have been a hit for quite a while now but they seem to be picking up in TOPMAN quite rapidly! If you think you can pull this style jacket off I'd definitely give it a go!

They come in all patterns and colours so it won't be hard to find one to suit you!

Playing About With Makeup.. Contouring!

Hey guys I just thought I'd do a little random post as I have practiced contouring my face for the first time using different shades of foundation, bronzer and highlighter to make my makeup look better and I am so proud!!! I have also done an ombré lip again as I am getting a little obsessed with now nice it looks!

Here I have used a Mac match master foundation in 1.5 mixed with max factor smooth creamy effect foundation to get the right texture and colour for my skin, I will admire the Mac foundation is not my colour as it is much darker that's why I have mixed it with an ivory colour! I have highlighted my face around the t-zone area and just under the eyes with Rimmel London match perfection foundation in light porcelain.

I have then used a sun kisses bronzer to tone the cheek bones and around the edge of my forehead. I have blended that in nicely with the foundation but I have also used a Stila foundation powder in a dark shade to help along with that.

For my blush I have used Gosh 36 rose whisper to add a Rosie colour back into my cheeks and it blends really nicely with the bronzer!

Again For the lips I have used a lip liner in adventure - not sure who by

I have also used Mac matte lipstick in lady gaga viva glam and the lovely ruby woo!

OOTD. 18/09/13

It's been a long time since I posted an outfit of the day post so I thought today would be a good day to post one! It's getting towards the cold weather now but the weather is so unpredictable with these cold then sunny spells! That's England for you.

Here I am wearing my black jersey top with a mesh heart shaped bust line that goes into a v- shaped see through section going down the chest area which is from eBay at a bargain price of £12.00 ! It is so versatile this is the kind of top I would wear to style a day - night look as it looks great on a night out too with either high waisted jeans or a midi skirt.

On the bottom half we have my grey jersey skater skirt from Topshop which I bought quite a while ago in the sale for £10 which again was a bargain but these are available to get practically anywhere now as they are so popular and just easy to wear.

To finish the look I've added a pair of black thick tights and a tartan scarf which I cut out from an old-ish tartan blanket I had that had never been used! Can you believe it?! (I know) you'd never think it..

I love a good old recycle. Although I do have one from h&m but these will be all over the shop this season as tartan has made a comeback!

As for my coat it is from Matalan at £35 and it is the best Parker I have ever bought and I have had it for at least two years and its still in more than great condition! Plus it's fur lined so it keeps you really warm and cosy with the fur Hood!

Makeup of the day! Fall - smokey brown/grey/black eyes.

Today I have gone for a fall look as it is coming into the winter which means we can start to bring out the darks! I have done a smokey brown/black eye using Fearne cotton's dusk till dawn shadow pallet with a few matt brown shades and a touch of shimmer eye shadows by accessorize.

I have teamed this look up with a slight ombré lip using lady gaga viva glam red and coming in from the corners and round the lip like with a dark plum lipstick by mac - unsure of the name! (It's rubbed off the bottom) and a Nyx plum lip liner!

Hope you like this look, it's not amazing but it was early this morning! So sorry I'm if lacking guys..

MAC LIVE PROJECT.

At my college in Barnsley I'm in the second year of my fashion course and we Are building up our project in which we will be working with the famous big name brand Mac cosmetics.

Our brief is to come up with a new viva glam lipstick and a New spokes person that we think will be suitable for Mac and to also design Viva glam advertising t-shirts and for all those who dorm know what viva glam is its a huge campaign that supports the aids fund!

Every cent brought in by the viva glam cosmetics gets donated to the aids fund charity and so far this year as of January 2013 viva glam has funded more than $270 million and 15.4 million viva glam lipgloss and lipsticks have been sold and is still on going!

I will be keeping you all updated by posting images of my teams work and illustrations.

NEW VICTORIA SECRET!

Recently In meadowhall in Sheffield Victoria Secret has opened and I was so excited and couldn't wait to go in! The store is absolutely amazing and it's just like a dream when you walk in! The underwear and fragrance range is out of this world, finally there's a Victoria secret store close by! I will definitely be shopping there often, :) here is my first purchase and it smells so lush and fruity!! I totally recommend it - Mango Temptation , I know I just couldn't help myself x x

My modern 60s inspired shirt! Made by me

Here is my shirt that I have designed and made all finished! I have used inspiration from the swinging sixties and the modern clothes women wear today to crest this little number!

I have used thread pulling to create the checked pattern on the front piece and I have used puff binder for the print on my sleeves and back pieces! I am really pleased with the outcome of my shirt and I think I have done really well as it looks exactly like my design!
