Real Techniques duo fibre limited edition

SO! For all you girls out there who are makeup brush mad I am new to using a variety of brushes!

Only because I'm like girl!! Where do i start. There are so so many an I'm starting to build a set up however Ive decided not to jump into the deep end and start off with what I know!

I absolutely love sam and nic I have watched their channel for such a long time now. I've heard so many great reviews about their brushes so I've decided to give them a try!!

My favourite brush out of them all so far is the first one on the left, the exclusive face brush. It gives such a great finish on the skin! I use it to apply my powder and it doesn't go on too thick it's amazing! Makes the face glow with the finish it creates!

The eye brushes are brilliant I love using those too! The angled brush Is great for creating the perfect cat eye look.

And I mean you can't go wrong £20 for all five  brushes! Absolute bargain.

Definitely recommend trying these If you are a real techniques fan or even if you are new to the brand like moi.

If you don't know know the two beautiful women behind these brushes be sure to check out their YouTube channel or magazine! pixiewoo

                    Wonder'FULL
New mascara alert! I've been in desperate need for a new mascara
And I happened to pick up a look magazine couple weeks back and luckily for me there was a full page on mascara reviews and this was the one that caught my eye!

I'm never usually big on mascara but nah that give me a spider lash is a big NONO!      This one is great because It has argan oil in it which is great conditioning for the lashes so big fan of the mascara however sadly i'm not a fan of the brush! :(

I've had to use a different brush because it makes me have spider lash, it may be different for some. Can't fault the mascara at all it's just the brush doesn't work for me, I like a thick colossal mascara but I wanted to try something different!

OOTD - NEW PURCHASES. - PART ONE.
So recently i have gone absolutely crazy and i just ( as most girls ) can't stop spending my money! so far this month I have made some lovely purchases which are worth taking a look at!
I also managed to get hold of some Bargains too!

One of the key pieces that are really in at the moments is Duster coats! in any colour! the ones that are my favourite on the high street at the moment are the checks, black & white and also the dusky pink!

pink appears to be really in this season and I am really making the most of it. Before I went on a huge shop I actually didn't own anything pink, now the majority of my wardrobe is all different shades of pinks!

I happened to be reading through LOOK MAGAZINE. and I spotted a model wearing some beautiful dusty pink high waisted trousers that come just above the ankle. I HAD to have them!! so i rushed to TOPSHOP straight away tried them on and they fit perfectly! they are the best £40 I have ever spent and i will definitely be on the look out for more cigarette trousers in Topshop!!

ITS SO HARD no longer working at Top man because im not surrounded by Topshop every day so when I do go I just go absolutely crazy!!!

Here i am wearing the BEAUTIFUL cigarette trousers! My CHECKED duster coat has also been such a great piece ! (again from TOPSHOP) it goes with most of my clothes and when I don't feel like wearing a huge coat its great just to throw on!

July Makeup Loves
So this month I have had some pretty good drug store and upper high street branded makeup that I am absolutely in love with and I will definitley be purchasing them again once I run out and I am nearly out!!!

My first love of the month is my gosh velvet touch lipstick in 122 nougat.
I never usually wear nude and natural coloured lipstick but I found that this one really suited me and I really like the texture! Not only that I found that it lasted a really long time and I love it that much I have nearly used it all in just a month! (As I wear it every day)

No.2
The seccond thing I'm loving right now is the FIT me maybellene compact pressed powder! It's really soft and sheek - very light weight to just add to your face after applying your foundation! Especially if your already wearing a heavy foundation as I do!

No.3 - rich liquid illamasqua foundation!
For my birthday I went for my makeup doing at illamasqua and I was so pleased with the result. I actually asked a woman who worked there what foundation she was wearing because I really loved the finish on her skin so I asked the makeup artist to put that one on me and I love it! I only got it mid July and as it has a really thick consistency I know it will last me a really long long time! I also got a darker one than usual as I am wearing fake tan quite often recently and if I need to lighten it up I just mix in my Rimmel match perfection foundation in light porcelain which is available in most drugstores and is a bargin at only £6. The rich liquid foundation is £30 but it is totally worth the price and it makes your skin look flawless and lasts a really long time! Not only that I've had no breakouts! Which I usually get when using thick mac makeup so result!!

The colour I use is 210.

No.4 sheer lip gloss in the colour intamacy by illamasqua!

Again I am not used to wearing nude glosses but I absolutely love this one! Especially on top of my lipstick in nougat by gosh! They look so so good together! (Also wearing in the picture above)
I have actually nearly run out of this as I wear it so so much!! And I only got it mid July! Naughty Demi!!!!

Last but not least this red super saturated high gloss lip colour stick in adrenaline by urban decay was a birthday prezzie from my best friend and i absolutely love it! It doesn't dry out my lips and it stays on for a good amount of time to! I do have to re apply It as it's quite glossy!

Oh oh!! I nearly forgot! Lashes I have been loving at the minute these gorgeous natural black lashes by illamasqua in No.14! Not too heavy on your eyes they are just perfect!

Saturday 9 August 2014

Well whilst we still have a little summer weather I thought it was time to bring out the bashing palm tree skirt again which I absolutely LOVE!!! With a cute little basic strappy vest! Both these little beauty's are from topshop! Hope you like my summer inspiration girlies!! ✌️ Oh and can't forget the popular chocker that everyone is going on a mad en for!!!

Saturday 24 May 2014

I love styling and getting ready for the shoot it's so so exciting! I have created a hair and makeup inspiration board to help me come up with ideas for the makeup.. I practied on my friend Ellie the other night and I am super pleased with the final outcome and can't wait to see what it looks like together with the dress!

Project - Magnificance of the Underworld

Wednesday 21 May 2014

So guys it's nearly deadline day... Two weeks left I just can't believe it! I have worked every waking hour on this project and I am super pleased how it's turning out but I'm on a mad rush to get it all done! I'm just going to give you a sneak peak of my dress I've made but only in my toile fabrics!!!

I have made the dress in my best fabrics but until the photo shoot is done nobody can see it I'm afraid!!

It's coming up to the fun part! Sorting all my marketing materials arranging meetings for the photoshoot, practicing makeup and organising locations!! Eeeek
I am super super busy for the next two weeks so I do apologise if I'm not posting as often but I will try my best guys!!

Anyway before I ramble on anymore here is my dress made up in toile fabrics (calico) it looks very basic ATM but bare in mind I have a lot of detail on my actual garment!

My design is inspired by jellyfish and coral! My collection name is MAGNIFICENCE OF THE UNDERWORLD!

Sounds exciting right?

As soon as it is all finished my garment and all my marketing materials I will do a massive massive blog post to show you guys what I've been working my ass off for during the past couple of months!

My.. This did take some real hard work! I'm super fussy and until I get it exactly how I want it I will just keep changing it and re doing it over and over! I made the top half of the dress 5 times before I finally got it how I wanted it!  It took its time but it was totally worth it!

I'm practicing the makeup tomorrow for my photo shoots and I can't wait it's just super exciting!! (I will also do blog posts on this too!)

Until next time my lovelies xxx

Bold Floral prints, angelic 3D blooms and delicate floral embrodary is popular on the catwalk in the coming up seasons.. Are you a fan of the 3D blooms?
Here we have a mix of the delicate florals, the bright & clashing prints and a touch of the 3D appliqué petals.

From left to right we have Nina Ricci sporting the delicate fluffy floral number.. Ermanno scenevino with the elegant silky bustier gown with minimal embroidery giving it that luxury exquisite touch.
Etro has gone for the bold and brash bright orange and cream clashing floral print which works amazingly! Clashing prints are definitely a big hit on the catwalk which has stemmed down nicely to the high street fashions. Last but not least on the right we have the classy Dolce and Gabanna black lace/mesh dress with divine rose petal appliqué.

Not only are they big on the catwalk but they are even bigger in our high street stores.. I've spotted a few pieces in topshop which you can see have stemmed down nicely from catwalk inspirations..

If you are into bold and clashing prints these are definitely for you! Tropical floral print shirt and we have a big clash on print in this floral stripe short sleeve collared dress.

If you are more of a colourful person and are not scared to go OTT on prints then these pieces will spice up your wardrobe ready for this lovely summer weather!

Here we have a colourful mix shirt, black and pink rose kimono which is similar to the dress by Dolce and Gabanna I previously spoke about and last we have a flippy floaty radiant orange and peach striped print cami..this would look perfect with a pair of denim shorts ready for the festival fashions coming up in the summer break!!

If bold, and brights are not really for you how about toning it down a little..

Monochrome florals are too popular which are perfect for those who are not fond when it comes to colour.

From left to right we have Erdem, Emporio Armarni and Mathew Williamson.

Not all these are black and white but here  Emporio Armani have quite dull greys with colour being worked into the print on this top and trouser co-ord for a subtle relaxed look.

Mathew Williamson is really going for it with the 3D appliqué  this season. He is not holding back when it comes to this beautiful bed of Daisy's.

I have chosen to feaurture topshop of this post because they are too huge on monochrome floral prints and you will definitely no struggle to find the right black and white piece to suit you.

Monday 28 April 2014

So I think it's about time I blogged again because I haven't had chance to really do much as I've Been so so busy with my own FMP and just life in general! But I shall be with you on a daily basis very very soon! Anyway so my friend Abbie allert also does fashion at Preston university and she is in her final year and her collection is almost ready to be submitted and she has done so well she should be so proud!! All that stress was definitely worth it in the end!

She asked me and her other friend Alexandrea chapell to help her out and model her collection! Which I was super excited about it because you are never too old for dress up ladies!!!

Here are a few of the pictures from the shoot from her phone and a few from camera! I will have more very soon which I shall be posting up but we are just waiting on getting them together.

This is Alex wearing the gold silk high neck knee length dress and the black high neck open back crop top with the black long length split back skirt. I don't have many pictures of the garments Alex modelled just yet but I will very soon!!!

Here I am wearing the black high neck open back crop top. It has a zip fastening up the front and the high neck is corded which looks amazing it adds that little definition to a simple piece, it's really noticeable. The simplicity of this piece with little added details like that is what makes the garment  as well as the design and quality of the piece it's self,  here is an un edited shot....

Here is the skirt to go with the high neck top. Both of these garments are done in a scuba material which is high quality fabric which you can tell in the movement and fitting. It hugs your figure nicely and is so soft and comfortable I just didn't want to take it off! I will have more photos up soon I just wanted you to see it because I couldn't contain the excitement I have for her nearly finishing it all!

Next we have the beautiful amazing silk gold metallic trousers! I absolutely love these trousers they are such a good fit! They are really comfortable. The fabric of these trousers is actually the nicest thing I have seen/felt/worn!! If you know me you will know I love shiny glittery metallic things so you know I'm like a magpie on these babies!!

To match these statement high waisted trousers is this lovely fitting high neck crop top again in a scuba material. It is simple but this outfit literally speaks like a thousand words!! The neck is corded with some gold trim which really finishes it off and gives it that statement style edge. It also has this detailing around the cuffs.

Here are some shots with effects and and without! (Again I will have more soon)

Those are pretty much all the pictures I have right now but as soon as they are all done and I have more I will post them straight up!! Please keep your eye out for Abbie on Instagram it is ABBIELUU she will be posting more things on there and she is genuinely so so good!!

Until next time ladies!!!!

Saturday 22 March 2014

Hiya guys and girlies!! Had a bit of a boring day today I have absolutely nothing planned and the weather is atrocious outside! So wish it would brighten up :(

On a more positive note I've decided to post up my outfit because  I'm really loving it today so I would just like to take a moment to appreciate it!!

Gone for green!! This dark green colour is my fave and it looks great worn with red lipstick! I have Gone for a sort of pin up look, blonde curls red lips , tight midi skirt and crop top with a thick buckled belt pulling in at the waist to give that hour glass shape!!

The green tartan skirt I am wearing is from Topshop and so is the v neck textured dark green top!! (They should be on the website) It's so surprising how two basic pieces can be made into such a lovely outfit!! Adding the belt really does pull it all together.

Hope you like this lovely day wear, it is totally versatile. It could be worn as a night outfit with some lovely black chunky  heels without tights. I know what il be wearing on my next night out... Hope you like girls! ✌

Until next time xoxox

Wednesday 19 March 2014

When in Sheffield I spotted these 3 lovely ladies. I had to pop over and ask to take a quick snap of their outfits!! Freya on the left is sporting a monochrome look as I was that day.. Wearing a white high neck top (just got to say I love these so much!! Definitely a Rachel from friends inspired look and I love it!!). She is also wearing a mixed black and grey soft wool blend coat in Cocoon shape. These coats are super stylish and are great for keeping you warm especially on days like this one! The weather was so deceiving it looked so warm out with the sun shining but when you stepped outside it was really windy and cold!

Katie in the middle is wearing a dark mohair boyfriend style coat which are great because they aren't too heavy and they are pretty versatile which is a key thing when it comes to coats.. Otherwise you find yourself buying different coats to match different outfits which can be quite annoying.

Last but not least Hannah on the end there is wearing this beautiful bright aqua number with a lovely neck detail! She was definitely turning heads in this coat for all the right reasons! I absolutely love this colour it stands out really well against her black leggings and white top but it also draws attention to her red lipstick that she is wearing.

Thanks girls for letting me take a picture you all look fab! ps did I mention I love your coats?

Until next time! Xoxox

Tuesday 18 March 2014

I know this post is a little late but I still want to post it anyway because I am so in love with the outfit I wore last Saturday and I wanted to share it with you all! Here am wearing my favourite blazer of all time I am so in love with this piece! I have featured it on my blog before but for those who have not seen it, it is from Topshop in the monochrome trend and it is such an amazing piece the fabric is lovely! I styled it with a black body con top and some white shorts because i am not yet daring enough to get the trousers to match this beauty but I still wanted it to look almost like a suit/ two piece.

It was a little cold out that day although the sun was shining.  I put on my leather jacket which I am super happy about I can finally hang up my big coat and get the jackets out! I do love wrapping up but its so nice to be able to dress lighter and it not be freezing cold. I also put on this tartan scarf which is from Topshop. I love the colours in this scarf. It is a little different to the usual red and black tartan but I do prefer these subtle tones to go with this outfit.

To finish the look off I have worn my black and white boots (New look) to tie in with the monochrome in my outfit and a big fluffy faux fur bag (Missguided).

My Friend Amber is wearing a  floral spliced midi skirt in the colour tan (Topshop) her big vintage black coat and her chunky suede boots. This outfit is definitely giving out some hippie vibes thanks to those stylish sunnies!!

So this Saturday me and my close friend amber decided it was about time we did some retail therapy! we had a lovely little day out in Sheffield chilling out, shopping and just catching a few little buskers out and about in the the street. Obviously you cant go out shopping and not stop off for a coffee so you can probably already guess where we went. yes STARBUCKS! my fave.. but like the fuss bum she is amber hates coffee so she just got a cold blend smoothie instead! i had my usual skinny hazelnut late and it was to die for, just amazing.
Whilst we were walking the streets we spotted a cute little ice cream van and it was cheat day so we just could not resist!! we also spotted a band called the Glass caves. We stood and watched for ages because they are so sogood! I totally recommend you check them out on Facebook/instagram/twitter and give their music a good listen!! I will try to post a video we recorded later on if I manage to get hold of it.

SHOPPING!
if you know Me and Amber you will know the first place we hit was Topshop and yes we did spend some money in there!! I go so weak when I am in there. Even when I'm not at work I still find myself shopping some how!! so much for giving it up for lent.. ooopsies.

Here are some of the lovely items I tried on the other day! I have fallen in love with this orange crochet detailed top it is so pretty! it is perfect for this on and off weather we are having lately too. It is a knit so it keeps you warm when its really sunny but still a little chilly out and it looks great for the summer styled with some shorts or a statement print skirt! I went for the bright palm tree printed skirt in the end out of the two because its such a bright colour and I love LOVE LOVE the print it makes me feel like I'm on holiday even when I'm not!

Shortly after this I couldn't help myself from going into H&M! I didn't really see anything I was that interested in at first but then I spotted these blue and purple shade summery floral legging! of course I had to buy them! I can't wait for my wardrobe to be full of bright and beautiful pieces for the summer!
They look great with some flat forms or jelly shoes which are going to be so big this summer I just cant get enough of them! a denim jacket and a nice bright top.

Until next time guys! xoxox

Saturday 8 March 2014

Hey guys!!! So I'm totally sporting the monochrome trend ATM!! I know it's nearly spring/summer YAY SUPER EXCITED but surprisingly my wardrobe isn't full of colour just yet! But I do have my eyes on some eye blasting pieces!! Anyway... So I did a little shop the other day and didn't even move from the monochrome trend in topshop!!!

I did a sneaky little purchase and got this HOT LITTLE BEAUTY! Which I can now say I own a LITTLE BLACK DRESS!! My first one too!!! It's a really tight fitting jersey bodycon dress with a pu leather bodice which shapes as a v at the front and back it is so flattering its amazing I'm so happy with it and I am so so so fussy with black dresses!! It is only £40 too girls which is dead cheap for this little number!

My second purchase is this gorgeous statement piece!!!! It's a double breasted leafy monochrome print blazer! It's a lovely lightweight fabric!! So cool aswell it doesn't make you hot.. It is dry clean only but I suppose a hand wash would be safe if your really careful! It is a little pricey at £60 but it is so so worth it like you can get so much wear out of it!!

Here are some toilet selfies at work as that is all I have time for recently because im super super busy but WHAT THE HELL!!! Who cares ✌a always got time for you babies!

Please mind ma jazzy lil phone case there!!!

Here are some close up photos from the website so you can see how it looks on there!

Hope this helps guys! If monochrome is not for you then there are some summer lovelies in Topshop right now and a just can't wait to get my hands on some festival attire!!!!!!!

Topshop also have a magazine in store that has the latest trends and all the Topshop updates which is free to take so do take!!! Everyone loves a free mag!!!
