Here are a few items I have bought today because I just couldn't help myself! I shall post photos of me wearing them and how I style them soon guys so please be patient!!:-)

 I am so in love with these shoes and can't wait to wear them! What a steal at £20. Can't go wrong!... BONUS they are the comfiest pair of shoes I own.

Update on marketing project- Mac Cosmetics

Recently I have informed you about our marketing project on which we are working with Mac Costsmetics. Our brief was to choose a spokes person and create a new viva glam lipstick to go with it, and to also create some viva glam advertising t-shirt. Here are a few of the boards that I've been getting up to lately for my team!  So much work have one into these babies so I hope you like them!:)

To create this mood board I have looked at the colours and created a colour palate on which our viva glam will be based around and I will be creating a 

look to go with the lipstick. 
I have also looked At Katy perry an the kind of colours she wears and the different colour of her wigs ect. 

We have also looked at an old Mac collection from winter 2011. Because we like the collection so much and it fits in with our inspiration and spokesperson we plan to recreate this look and bring it back in a viva glam edition but Katy PErry style.. Exciting!!

And here is a picture of some Mac illustrations that I have done. 

 I have done more boards but they are not quite finished so I will update you on more once they are :)

GREY ON GREY! & 50 Shades Of Red.

Another popular look on the catwalk is the layering of the greys! It is definitely a bold statement look and you have to be quite daring to try and pull it off but as long as its styled right you can't go wrong! So why don't you try it and be in with the trends this autumn winter.

Here he has teamed up the grey baseball jackets with some full on statement grey shade trousers, 

Another colour to look out for is the daring dominating dark reds! Ox blood red is definitely a popular one this autumn/winter

MEN'S TRENDS Autumn/Winter 2013

I think it's time to broaden my horizons when it comes to fashion and take a look at it all from a mans point of view.. But coming from a women? If it all makes sense! 

Here I am about to talk about a few of the hottest trends on the catwalk for you guys out there this season cause we all know men are obsessed with looking good! 

Firstly I'm going to start with the contrast jumpers! These have always been a hit with the guys but now more than ever if you don't know what I'm talking about well I'm about to explain to you exactly what they are! 

The contrast sweatshirts are a sort of jumper with medium thickness I would say which have a plain bodice but then the sleeves are constructed in a completely different material like this jumper here which can be found in Top man. 


Here the sleeves are made of PU leather. PU is short for polyurethane which is just an alternative material to leather which is extremely popular in the mid-upperhigh street market level shops but is also seen on the catwalk too. 

UP next we have the navy duffle coat which is making a comeback this year.. The thicker the better!! Although I wouldn't go over the top styling this coat as it would be perfect with a creamy/brown wool jumper and some dark jeans. This coat can too be found in TOPMAN this autumn winter.


Another popular item coming up from TOPMAN again is the 90s inspired checked shirts. I don't think these will be going anywhere any time soon as they are extremely versatile and can be worn on a night out with some skinny jeans or through the day under a knit jumper which will be perfect for keeping you warm this winter. 


Next we have the bomber jackets. These too have been a hit for quite a while now but they seem to be picking up in TOPMAN quite rapidly! If you think you can pull this style jacket off I'd definitely give it a go! 



They come in all patterns and colours so it won't be hard to find one to suit you!

Playing About With Makeup.. Contouring!

Hey guys I just thought I'd do a little random post as I have practiced contouring my face for the first time using different shades of foundation, bronzer and highlighter to make my makeup look better and I am so proud!!!  I have also done an ombré lip again as I am getting a little obsessed with now nice it looks! 




Here I have used a Mac match master foundation in 1.5 mixed with max factor smooth creamy effect foundation to get the right texture and colour for my skin, I will admire the Mac foundation is not my colour as it is much darker that's why I have mixed it with an ivory colour! I have highlighted my face around the t-zone area and just under the eyes with Rimmel London match perfection foundation in light porcelain. 

I have then used a sun kisses bronzer to tone the cheek bones and around the edge of my forehead. I have blended that in nicely with the foundation but I have also used a Stila foundation powder in a dark shade to help along with that.

For my blush I have used Gosh 36 rose whisper to add a Rosie colour back into my cheeks and it blends really nicely with the bronzer!  

Again For the lips I have used a lip liner in adventure - not sure who by
I have also used Mac matte lipstick in lady gaga viva glam and the lovely ruby woo! 

Hope you like this look its just a basic contour and it is my first time so please bare with me as I will get much better!:-)

OOTD. 18/09/13

It's been a long time since I posted an outfit of the day post so I thought today would be a good day to post one! It's getting towards the cold weather now but the weather is so unpredictable with these cold then sunny spells! That's England for you.
Here I am wearing my black jersey top with a mesh heart shaped bust line that goes into a  v- shaped see through section going down the chest area  which is from eBay at a bargain price of £12.00 ! It is so versatile this is the kind of top I would wear to style a day - night look as it looks great on a night out too with either high waisted jeans or a midi skirt. 

On the bottom half we have my grey jersey skater skirt from Topshop which I bought quite a while ago in the sale for £10 which again was a bargain but these are available to get practically anywhere  now as they are so popular and just easy to wear.

To finish the look I've added a pair of black thick tights and a tartan scarf which I cut out from an old-ish tartan blanket I had that had never been used! Can you believe it?! (I know) you'd never think it..
I love a good old recycle. Although I do have one from h&m but these will be all over the shop this season as tartan has made a comeback!

Accessories - necklace (absolute steal!) - Primark - £4

As for my coat it is from Matalan at £35 and it is the best Parker I have ever bought and I have had it for at least two years and its still in more than great condition! Plus it's fur lined so it keeps you really warm and cosy with the fur Hood!
 Ps the lipstick I am wearing is pink pearl pop by Mac :)

Makeup of the day! Fall - smokey brown/grey/black eyes.

Today I have gone for a fall look as it is coming into the winter which means we can start to bring out the darks! I have done a smokey brown/black eye using Fearne cotton's dusk till dawn shadow pallet with a few matt brown shades and a touch of shimmer eye shadows by accessorize. 
I have teamed this look up with a slight ombré lip using lady gaga viva glam red and coming in from the corners and round the lip like with a dark plum lipstick by mac - unsure of the name! (It's rubbed off the bottom) and a Nyx plum lip liner! 

Hope you like  this look, it's not amazing but it was early this morning! So sorry I'm if lacking guys..

MAC LIVE PROJECT.

At my college in Barnsley I'm in the second year of my fashion course and we Are building up our project in which we will be working with the famous big name brand Mac cosmetics.

 Our brief is to come up with a new viva glam lipstick and a New spokes person that we think will be suitable for Mac and to also design Viva glam advertising t-shirts and for all those who dorm know what viva glam is its a huge campaign that supports the aids fund! 

Every cent brought in by the viva glam cosmetics gets donated to the aids fund charity and so far this year as of January 2013 viva glam has funded more than $270 million and 15.4 million viva glam lipgloss and lipsticks have been sold and is still on going! 

I will be keeping you all updated by posting images of my teams work and illustrations.

NEW VICTORIA SECRET!

Recently In meadowhall in Sheffield Victoria Secret has opened and I was so excited and couldn't wait to go in! The store is absolutely amazing and it's just like a dream when you walk in! The underwear and fragrance range is out of this world, finally there's a Victoria secret store close by! I will definitely be shopping there often, :) here is my first purchase and it smells so lush and fruity!! I totally recommend it - Mango Temptation , I know I just couldn't help myself x x
